Features of storing drinks in the refrigerator

beverage storage

Storage of drinks is a separate topic that is worth considering in detail: from juices and milkshakes to wines and other alcohol. How to store different drinks?

Dairy products - always stored in a clean, tightly closed container. Of course, it is ideal to drink dairy products and smoothies immediately after preparation. If you didn’t finish it right away, store it in the refrigerator at a temperature not higher than +3 degrees: the expiration date is no more than a day in the refrigerator, and up to 5 months in the freezer. Pasteurized milk lasts longer than usual.

Compotes, juices - for long-term storage, they are hermetically packed and stored in the dark at a temperature not higher than +12 degrees: juice will live up to a year without loss of vitamins. Already opened drinks are stored in the refrigerator at a temperature not exceeding +2 degrees for up to 2 days. The higher the temperature, the faster the drink will start to sour.

Sodas - have a long shelf life and a comfortable temperature range. For example, Cola or Fanta will quietly exist in the range of 0- +25 degrees. Manufacturers indicate the shelf life of a closed bottle on the packaging. An already opened bottle should not be shaken. Be sure to close tightly, otherwise the gas disappears immediately, and the taste of the drink changes. An open drink in the refrigerator lives longer than compote: up to a week - drinks containing sugars, up to a week - without sugar.

Wines - require a complete absence of sunlight and a temperature regime of 10-15 degrees. Humidity is about 75%, the absence of foreign odors. Wine cannot be stored in a conventional refrigerator, but Liebherr with a wine compartment is suitable, where you can provide comfortable conditions and store wine for up to 10 years. Wines are not stored on the door: they do not like shaking.

Opened wines are stored corked in a horizontal position: up to 5 days - red wines, 2-3 days - white wines.

Beer weathers very quickly after opening: up to a day with a tightly sealed lid. Open beer spoils and weathers in a few hours, exuding a strong smell. Corked bottles are stored in a cool place without shaking, in an upright position and without temperature fluctuations.

Vodka - stored almost anywhere except in direct sunlight. A marker of product spoilage is the appearance of a cloudy sediment.
